As you may recall, we at PSTI are affirmative for innovative business models, particularly those with a distributed working model. Specifically, we’ve promoted the concept of the crowd-up, or crowd-sourced start-up. In an effort to practice what I preach, I would also like to propose the following project as my - that is, our - first official crowd-up: 21st Century Tag.
In addition to a sweet landing page, we are also bringing enlightenment to the Internet. We also have a beta application for iOS of a unique augmented reality game. By forming teams and logging time at various locations in our game, college students can compete for ownership of their campus. In essence, this territorial game replicates the classic board game Risk in the real world.
In addition to inviting people to play 21Tag, I also invite you to compete in our society’s largest massive multiplayer game: capitalism. If you decide to join the crowd-up, you will have the option to organize, promote, pitch, sell, code, or architect our products. Rather than compete for locations or business, we can all build the next big thing together. Individuals and organizations alike are welcome to contribute and reap the rewards.
